About the Animation Program

Students will prepare themselves to successfully transfer to an institution offering a four year Animation Degree. Students will work to develop foundation drawing and design skills, apply animation principles in time based visualizations, and illustrate a working knowledge of visual storytelling.

With an associate's degree in animation and design, students can seek entry-level animation positions with creative art agencies, design firms, advertising companies and related animation businesses. Many animators also act as freelance multimedia artists, accepting work on a case-by-case basis.
